Dear visitor of dipluridae.de,
our new papers are now in the proof reading process.
First one is a cladistic analysis of the african Ischnothelinae genus Lathrothele with description of a new species from Gabon and the second one is a description of a new genus and species of Diplurinae from the Bahamas.
Fingers crossed those will be published soon.

we finally finished the paper on a new species of Lathrothele. Going to send it to proof-reading in the next few days. Fingers crossed for a fast publication

please note, that the Harmonicon that has been in the pettrade is NOT Harmonicon rufescens, but has been newly described as Harmonicon oiapoqueae. For details have a look at:

we're currently working on the description of a new genus and species in Diplurinae and a new species of Lathrothele.
Still, a little patience is needed, but we're looking forward publishing both papers within this year.

the normal homepage has now been substituted by the wiki. The wiki now contains all information the normal website formerly did, but can be presented in a better way than on the former page.

today we recieved the following papers on certain Diplura species:

The information have been added to the relevant wiki pages. We found out that the holotype of Diplura lineata is a male and deposited at MNHN.

today we recieved the new paper about Phyxioschema by Peter J. Schwendinger and Sergei L. Zonstein. They described a new species of the genus Phyxioschema: Phyxioschema roxana.
All information on that species can be found in the wiki. There's currently no LSID assigned to that species.

we just submitted a new paper on Harmonicon in which we provide a new diagnosis (differing from the one in Maréchal & Marty (1998)), an ID key to the species of Harmonicon and a description of a new species.
